Family Bowling

A couple of weeks ago we decided to take the girls bowling... oh was Brady happy!!! Lucky for us he left all of his bowling accessories at home! Taylor really gets into it and enjoys cheering for herself after she releases the ball. Hayden... well Hayden was afraid of bowling at first but warmed up to it when she got some lessons from Brady and Tay. We could have some future professional bowlers :) Brady's dream... family team tournaments!
Some seriously excited bowlers

So last year the man working the desk gave Taylor a Shrek bowling ball! We bring it with us every time and she is in heaven!

Big grin!

Taylor is jumping and yelling at the ball

Hmmmm... looks like Brady is getting pretty serious about the set up!

Celebrating Easter With The Hunters

This year we spent Easter with the Hunter Family! We are always grateful to spend the holidays with them and are amazed at how much they make us feel like part of their family. Taylor and Hayden love playing with the Hunter children and all of their cousins. Here are some pictures of the festivities!

I was finally able to snag Tay for a quick pic after the egg hunt

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was so relaxing this year! We woke up and grabbed some coffee and donut holes at Dunkin Donuts before catching the ferry to go strawberry picking. Taylor had a lot of fun throwing bread off of the back of the ferry to the seagulls. Hayden, as usual, was afraid of the birds and decided that it was much safer to watch! Our girls are SO opposite when it comes to taking chances!!! We went to Surry to pick berries at College Run Farms. We grabbed a couple of huge baskets and headed to the back corner of the field and the strawberries were amazing! Both of the girls insisted on carrying their own baskets which got pretty heavy by the end! Taylor raced around searching for the perfect berries and Hayden decided to stay right by our sides and help us pick. After filling our baskets to the top we headed in for some of their delicious homemade strawberry ice cream... yum!!! We made a stop at Fresh Market to pick up some food to grill and headed home. The girls were excited for strawberry smoothies and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Then it was off to nap for the kids! The rest of the evening was spent out in the sun relaxing in the backyard. Perfect day with the family :)

Taylor remembered getting homemade strawberry ice cream here last year so she couldn't wait to get it again!

Out on the Boat with the Hunter Family

A couple of weeks ago we went out on the boat with the Hunter Family and had so much fun! Taylor has been begging to go out with them forever and was thrilled! Hayden, on the other hand, was not so happy. She loved it when the boat was still but HATED the wind which presented quite a problem considering we were tubing! She spent the last of the trip hugging Brady and crying! It was a beautiful day and we were grateful that the Hunters let us tag along!

All of the cuties looking for Nemo

The start of the trip... notice the boat is not moving. That is why she isn't crying!

...... and then the boat started to move!

We were surprised that she insisted on trying out the tube!

Then she realized that she didn't like the tube! Taylor was in heaven!

Praying that it is almost over!
Taylor and Morgan went out together and talked the whole time!

Not a fan of moving boats!

Family Birthday Celebration

We celebrated Hayden's actual birthday as a family....she was not about to give up another opportunity for us to sing happy birthday to her and blow out the candles!

The girls were excited to play with the new doll house!

Hayden covered her eyes before each gift.... prepping for the surprise?!

Second birthday tradition... use of a pillow and a character blanket.

I think she likes the new blankie!

Traditional personal cake

Singing Happy Birthday.... we had to do this SEVERAL times during the week!

A little too close to the candles!!

Watching the slide show... hmmmm Taylor is wearing Hayden's gift!

One of their favorite baby pics... Tay giving Hayden her first bath at home.
