We finally made it to Colorado and were in some serious need of rest! The girls had a difficult time adjusting to the time change for the first couple of days and then they were good to go! They enjoyed spending time with each family member in a different way. My Dad really enjoyed coloring, my Mom reading and playing, Chelsea flipping them around, Nicole snuggling, and Kiersten baking. They had a blast! My parents also have a dog and a cat so they were in heaven. It was kind of odd that they called their dog Uncle Buddy instead of Buddy but funny! They were spoiled rotten! We also hit up the Christmas parties. We went to Kiersten's work party and the girls decorated cookies and talked to Santa. Taylor participated in her first cakewalk with Nana and WON! She was sooooo excited! Then it was on to my Mom's classroom party. It was nice to meet all of her work friends, see the room, and meet the kids. We were able to spend my Dad's birthday with him too! Everyone helped make the cake....Aunt Kiersten was in charge of the icing and ended up confessing that Hayden may have added a significant amount of salt to the icing.... yummy!
