Taylor woke up before the sun on Christmas morning but with some convincing she layed back down for a couple more hours. They were super excited to see their stockings! Of course they wanted to eat every bit of candy that came out of the stockings! They were totally overwhelmed by all of the gift opening! It became a speed round and an hour in they were exhausted! Luckily the rest of the family was okay taking a break for a while and continued later. Hayden just wanted to open everybodys gifts and Taylor wanted to play with it all as she opened it. Man... opening the packaging on the gifts is tough... all of those coiled wires and ties! Boo!!! Too much work with impatient children yelling at you in excitement! We had a very relaxing day as a family! While the kiddos, and others, were napping I went with Mom to visit Nana. In the late stages of Alzheimers she does not remember much but she did say that she remembered playing with the children on Christmas.... sweet Nana! This year was definitely a year we appreciated family, good health, and the many other blessings in our lives.
